Kouts Girls Softball League is a non-profit, recreational softball program for Pleasant Township girls aged 5-18 years.  The objective of the league is to give girls the opportunity to have fun while learning softball skills, teamwork and sportsmanship. 

 

While player fees and fundraisers cover the cost of uniforms, insurance and umpires, we collect donations to cover supplies and new equipment and to make improvements to our field. In the last two years alone, donations to our organization have allowed us to put in a shallow well as well as completely revamp our infield and update our dugouts. Our next goals are to install netting to protect people and vehicles from fly balls, and to install new lighting. This would allow our league to possibly sponsor a local tournament, bringing more visitors to our town. Donations of any size from local businesses are greatly appreciated to assist with those needs. In addition, our league has developed and maintained a banner program to allow our sponsors an annual opportunity to sponsor our league while advertising their business on our field. Your first year sponsorship of $250.00 will be recognized with a full color banner on the outfield fence all summer long!  Each subsequent year, we request a donation of $175.00. The banners are visible from the road and are replaced as needed at the league’s expense. Visitors to Pleasant Township Pool, Kouts Youth Baseball and Kouts Youth Soccer also view the banners from April through October. All donations are tax deductible and a receipt can be provided for your records.
