2019 Kouts Girls Softball Registration

2019 Kouts Girls Softball Sign-Ups: Ages 5 to 18. Divisions: 6u, 8u, 10u, 12u, 14u & 18u

Accepting 6u, 8u, 10u & 12u forms until March 9th. 18u & 14u registration will be extended. Forms are available at the Kouts Public Library and in the “Handouts” section of this  website. Any player requesting to play out of their age division must fill out and submit a Play Up/Down Request Form.

Please fill out form/forms and mail them to the address on the form. Money orders and cashiers checks only with the mailed registrations. No personal checks.

Description of basic game play:

6u/T-ball (4-6yrs old): Played on a field with 50 foot bases. Players will hit an 11″ softball from a tee for 3 innings and gentle coach pitch for the remaining innings. No score is kept. The game is designed to teach the players the fundamentals. All players will bat (continuous lineup). Umpired by parents.

8u (7-8yrs old): Played on a field with 60 foot bases. Players will hit an 11″ softball via coach pitch for 2 innings and player pitch for the remaining innings. All players will bat (continuous lineup). No stealing allowed. No metal cleats.

10u (9-10yrs old): Played on a field with 60 foot bases and the pitching rubber is at 35 feet. Player pitch the whole game. An 11″ softball is used. Stealing is allowed. All players will bat (continuous lineup). No metal cleats

12u (11-12yrs old): Played on a field with 60 foot bases and the pitching rubber is at 40 feet. A 12″ softball is used. Stealing is allowed. All players will bat (continuous lineup). No metal cleats

14u (13-14yrs old): Played on a field with 60 foot bases and the pitching rubber is at 43 feet. A 12″ softball is used. All players will bat (continuous lineup). Metal cleats allowed.

18u (15-18yrs old): Played on a field with 60 foot bases and the pitching rubber is at 43 feet. A 12″ softball is used. All players will bat (continuous lineup). Metal cleats allowed.
